If you purchased one of our 80 Series tire carriers before 3/6/2023, then this kit allows you to install a linkage that attaches the tire carrier to the frame mount. It limits the swingout to make sure it doesn’t get away from you and smack the side of the truck. The linkage also has a locking feature to hold the swingout open allowing you to access the tailgate and not have to hold the tire carrier.
 
The linkage is also easily detachable with a pin, to open the swingout to a wider angle for better use of the flip down table.
 
This linkage also makes for a much easier and improved fit of the stock bumper plastics.
 
Made from ¼” USA Steel.
Includes all mounting hardware.
